You can put on makeup, but you can’t hide crazy. I’m an unemployed library information specialist, military wife, mother to toddler puppy, Blue and toddler human, Olive. I’m not the kind of woman who walks through life with grace and humility. I require self deprecation and carbs to get me through. Welcome to my beautiful mess. I mean life.

  3. Hi Ashley,
My friend sent me a link of the article you wrote about autism. I am sitting here with tears pouring down my face. This is the first time I have found the perfect description of how I felt, and how I feel since I got the diagnosis for my daughter a year next month. it also depicts how I still feel.
I am grateful to know I am not alone on this journey and this is not peculiar to me.
Thank you for writing this. I am reading through your blog and I am so excited I found you.

    • Thank you for reaching out, Keji! You are definitely not alone! That is a large part of the reason I wrote that article and I’m so glad it spoke to you and touched. Thank you for finding me 🙂
